Azucena / Purple Brunfelsia

The Azucena, or Purple Brunfelsia, prefers a semi-shady to sunny, warm, and sheltered location. It is sensitive to frost and is suitable for tropical to subtropical regions.

The soil should be humus-rich, loose, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal, and consistent moisture is preferred.

The plant grows as a shrub and usually reaches 1 to 3 meters in height. It does not produce edible fruits but is primarily known for its color-changing flowers.
