Dwarf fan palm

The dwarf palm prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm and sheltered location. It is one of the most robust palm species and relatively frost-tolerant.

The soil should be loose, sandy to loamy and very well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. The plant is drought-tolerant; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows slowly as a multi-stemmed fan palm and usually reaches 1 to 3 meters in height. It is primarily valued for its resilience and its compact, decorative growth.
