Lemon bush

The lemon verbena prefers a sunny, warm, and sheltered location. It is sensitive to frost and grows best in mild to subtropical climates.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value (approx. 5.5–6.5) is ideal. The plant requires regular watering; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a deciduous shrub and usually reaches 1 to 3 meters in height.
It is primarily valued as a tea and spice plant for its intense lemon aroma.
