Yvapovo

The Yvapovo / Mamoncillo prefers a full sun, warm, and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and grows best with consistently high temperatures and high humidity.

The soil should be deep, loose, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal; regular watering is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a medium to large tree, usually reaching 8 to 20 meters in height. It typically bears its first fruits after about 5 to 10 years under good conditions.
