Yuzu

The Yuzu prefers a sunny, warm, and sheltered location with good air circulation. It requires regular watering, with the soil kept evenly moist but very well-drained.

An ideal soil is loose, rich in humus and nutrients, with a slightly acidic pH of about 5.5 to 6.5. Waterlogging should be avoided at all costs, as the roots are sensitive.

Under optimal conditions, it begins to bear fruit after about 3 to 5 years, producing aromatic, yellow to greenish citrus fruits. The plant usually reaches a height of about 2 to 4 meters and grows as a robust, often slightly thorny citrus shrub or small tree.
