White Damiana

White Damiana prefers a full sun, warm, and rather dry location in a subtropical to tropical climate. It is drought-tolerant but sensitive to frost.
The soil should be loose, sandy to stony, and very well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value between approximately 6.0 and 8.0 is ideal; waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
The plant grows as a small, highly branched shrub and usually reaches a height of 0.5 to 1.5 meters. It produces small, inconspicuous fruits and is primarily used as an aromatic and traditional medicinal plant.
