Taruma

The Taruma prefers a full-sun, warm, and sheltered location. It is heat-tolerant and, once established, also relatively drought-tolerant.

The soil should be deep, loose, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH (approx. 5.5–7.0) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a medium-sized tree, usually reaching 8 to 15 meters in height.
It is valued primarily for its robustness, dense growth, and as a shade provider.
