Sage

Sage prefers a full sun, warm, and rather dry location. It is very robust, heat and drought tolerant, and quite frost-hardy.

The soil should be loose, sandy to stony, and well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.

The plant grows as an evergreen subshrub and usually reaches 30 to 80 cm in height.
It is primarily valued as a culinary and medicinal herb due to its aromatic foliage.
