Russelie

The Russelia, also known as Coral Plant, prefers a full sun to partial shade, warm, and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and often only grows as a container plant in milder regions.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a cascading, heavily branched shrub and typically reaches 0.5 to 1.5 meters in height (often wider than tall). It is primarily valued for its many red or white tubular flowers.
