Red Dacca Banana

The Red Dacca banana prefers a sunny to partially shaded, warm, and sheltered location. It is sensitive to frost and grows best in tropical to subtropical regions.
The soil should be rich in humus, nutrient-dense, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal, and consistent watering is important.
The plant usually reaches a height of 3 to 5 meters and grows relatively quickly. It typically bears its first fruits after about 2 to 3 years under good conditions.
