Rose Salvia

Rose sage prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location. It is only partially frost-hardy and grows best in mild to subtropical climates.

The soil should be humus-rich, loose, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal; consistent moisture is preferred, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a bushy perennial and usually reaches 1.5 to 2.5 meters in height. It does not produce edible fruits and is primarily valued for its large, pink flower spikes.
