Pink Peppercorn Tree

The pink peppercorn tree prefers a full sun, warm, and dry location. It is very heat and drought tolerant and only moderately frost hardy.

The soil should be loose, sandy to stony, and very well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.

The plant grows as a fast-growing, evergreen tree and usually reaches 6 to 15 meters in height, or even more under good conditions. It is mainly valued for its decorative, drooping branches and pink peppercorns.
