Giant Yucca

The Giant Yucca prefers a full sun, warm and dry location. It is very tolerant of heat and drought, but only slightly frost-tolerant.

The soil should be very loose, sandy to mineral, and well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.

The plant grows as a slow-growing, palm-like shrub or small tree and usually reaches 2 to 8 meters in height. It is valued primarily for its robust nature and its decorative, sword-shaped leaves.
