Neem / Neem tree

The neem tree prefers a full sun, warm, and dry location. It is very heat and drought tolerant, but sensitive to frost.

The soil should be loose, sandy to loamy, and well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as an evergreen tree and usually reaches 10 to 20 meters in height. It is particularly valued for its robustness, rapid growth, and versatile use as a utility and medicinal tree.
