Oriental Tree of Life

Oriental arborvitae prefers a location with full sun to partial shade. It is robust, drought-tolerant, and well-adapted to various climatic conditions.

The soil should be loose, well-draining, and moderately nutrient-rich. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as an evergreen shrub or small tree and usually reaches a height of 3 to 10 meters.

It is valued primarily for its dense growth and its suitability as a hedge and ornamental plant.
