Tangerine

The tangerine prefers a warm, sunny, and sheltered location with plenty of light. It needs regular watering, with the soil kept evenly moist but very well-drained.

An ideal soil is loose, rich in humus and nutrients, with a slightly acidic pH of about 5.5 to 6.5. Waterlogging must be avoided at all costs, as the roots are sensitive to it.

Under optimal conditions, it begins to bear fruit after about 2 to 4 years, producing sweet, aromatic fruits. The plant usually reaches a height of about 2 to 5 meters and grows as a compact, evergreen citrus tree.
