Loose shrub

The Glory Bush prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and grows best with consistently high warmth and some humidity.

The soil should be humus-rich, loose, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

Depending on the species, the plant grows as a shrub or a climbing vine and usually reaches 1.5 to 4 meters in height. It is particularly valued for its striking, often red, white, or violet flowers and decorative forms.
