Lime Sutil

The 'Sutil' lime prefers a warm, sunny, and sheltered location with high light intensity. It requires regular watering, with the soil kept consistently moist but very well-drained.

An ideal soil is loose, humus-rich, and well-draining with a slightly acidic pH of about 5.5 to 6.5. Waterlogging should be strictly avoided, as the roots are sensitive.

Under optimal conditions, it begins to bear fruit after about 2 to 3 years, producing small, aromatic, and juicy fruits. The plant typically reaches a height of about 2 to 4 meters and grows compactly as an evergreen citrus shrub or small tree.
