Kurupay Kuru

The Kurupay Kuru prefers a sunny, warm, and dry location. It is very heat and drought-tolerant, but sensitive to frost.

The soil should be deep, sandy to loamy, and very well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. Waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.

The plant grows as a medium to large deciduous tree and usually reaches 10 to 25 meters in height. It is particularly valued for its robustness, shade provision, and high-quality wood.
