Cocú

The Kokú prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location in a subtropical to tropical climate. It is heat-loving and only slightly susceptible to frost; young plants, especially, should be protected.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal. The plant prefers consistent moisture, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as an evergreen shrub or small tree, usually reaching 3 to 10 meters in height. It is valued primarily for its dense growth, good pruning tolerance, and use as an ornamental and utility plant.
