Pine

Pine trees prefer a sunny location with good air circulation and are very adaptable to various climatic conditions. Once established, they only need moderate watering and tolerate dry periods much better than waterlogging.

An ideal soil is well-drained, sandy to loamy, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH value of about 5.0 to 7.0. Heavy, constantly wet soils should be avoided.

Pine trees produce characteristic cones with seeds and grow as evergreen conifers, depending on the species. They usually reach a height of about 10 to 40 meters, but some species can grow significantly taller.
