Chamomile

Chamomile prefers a sunny to semi-shady, rather warm location. It is very robust and highly adaptable.

The soil should be loose, nutrient-rich, and well-drained. A neutral to slightly alkaline pH value (approx. 6.0–7.5) is ideal. The plant tolerates rather dry to moderately moist conditions; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as an annual herbaceous plant and usually reaches a height of 20 to 60 cm.
It is primarily valued for its flowers as a classic medicinal and tea plant.
