Jiaogulan

Jiaogulan prefers a semi-shady to sunny, warm, and sheltered location. It is relatively robust and grows well in temperate to subtropical climates.

The soil should be loose, humous, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH (approx. 5.5–6.5) is ideal. The plant requires regular moisture; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a fast-climbing vine and can reach several meters in length. It is primarily valued for its edible, health-promoting leaves.
