Jacaratia

The Jacaratia prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and grows best with consistent warmth.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a fast-growing tree, usually reaching 5 to 15 meters in height. It typically bears its first fruit after about 2 to 4 years under good conditions.
