Ixora

Ixora prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and very sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is frost-sensitive and requires consistently high temperatures and high humidity.

The soil should be humus-rich, loose, and well-drained. A distinctly acidic to slightly acidic pH value between approximately 5.0 and 6.5 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as an evergreen shrub and usually reaches 1 to 2.5 meters in height. It is primarily valued for its dense, brightly colored flower clusters.
