Ipomoea horsfalliae

Ipomoea horsfalliae prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and requires consistently high temperatures.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a vigorous climbing vine and can form shoots several meters long. It is primarily valued for its bright red to carmine-colored, funnel-shaped flowers.
