Inga

Inga prefers a sunny to partially shaded, warm, and very humid location in a tropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and grows best with high humidity.

The soil should be rich in humus, deep, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a fast-growing tree and usually reaches 10 to 25 meters in height. It typically bears its first fruits after about 3 to 5 years under good conditions.
