Raspberry

Raspberries prefer a semi-shady to sunny location with consistently warm temperatures and a sheltered position. They require regular watering, with the soil always being slightly moist but well-drained.

An ideal soil is humus-rich, loose, and nutrient-rich, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH value of about 5.5 to 6.5. Waterlogging should be avoided as the roots are sensitive.

Under optimal conditions, they begin to bear fruit after about 1 to 2 years, producing small, aromatic, red fruits. The plant usually reaches a height of about 1 to 3 meters and grows as an upright, slightly branched shrub.
