Soursop

The graviola prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm and very sheltered location in a tropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and requires consistently high temperatures.

The soil should be rich in humus, loose, and well-drained. A slightly acidic pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal; regular moisture is important, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a small tree and usually reaches a height of 3 to 8 meters. It typically bears its first fruits after about 3 to 5 years under good conditions.
