Golden chalice

The cup of gold vine prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location with high humidity. It requires regular watering, with the soil kept consistently moist but well-drained.

The ideal soil is humus-rich, nutrient-rich, and well-drained, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH value of about 5.5 to 7.0. A good supply of nutrients promotes vigorous growth and abundant flowering.

The plant produces large, striking, chalice-shaped flowers in shades of yellow to cream with purple stripes and grows as a robust, evergreen climbing plant. The shoots can reach a length of about 5 to 10 meters and are excellent for covering pergolas, walls, and large trellises.
