Geranium

Geraniums prefer a sunny to semi-shady, warm location and are well-suited for beds, balconies, or pots. They are not frost-hardy and should be protected from cold.

The soil should be loose, well-drained, and rather nutrient-rich. A neutral to slightly acidic pH value between approximately 6.0 and 7.0 is ideal; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant usually grows as a compact to bushy subshrub and reaches about 20 to 60 cm in height. It is primarily valued for its long and intensely colorful flowering period.
