Foxtail Palm

The Foxtail Palm prefers a full sun, warm, and sheltered location. It is heat-tolerant but only slightly frost-tolerant and thrives best in tropical to subtropical climates.

The soil should be loose, sandy to loamy, and very well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH (approx. 5.5–6.5) is ideal. The plant is relatively drought-tolerant; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a fast-growing palm, usually reaching 6 to 15 meters in height.
It is particularly valued for its dense, fan-like fronds, which resemble a fox's tail.
