Bottle palm

The Bottle Palm prefers a full sun, warm, and sheltered location. It is very sensitive to frost and grows best in tropical to subtropical climates.

The soil should be loose, sandy to loamy, and very well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value (approx. 5.5–6.5) is ideal. The plant requires consistent moisture; waterlogging should be strictly avoided.

The plant grows as a slow-growing palm and usually reaches a height of 3 to 6 meters.
It is particularly valued for its thickened, bottle-shaped trunk and its decorative appearance.
