Angel's Trumpet

The angel's trumpet prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and should be protected from cold.

The soil should be humus-rich, nutrient-rich and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal, consistent moisture is preferred, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a shrub or small tree and usually reaches 2 to 6 meters in height. It does not produce edible fruits and is known as an ornamental plant, as all parts of the plant are poisonous.
