Real Jasmine

True jasmine prefers a sunny to partially shaded, warm, and sheltered location. It is moderately frost-tolerant and grows best in a mild climate or as a potted plant.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 6.0 and 7.0 is ideal, consistent moisture is preferred, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a climbing shrub and can reach 3 to 10 meters in height. It is primarily known for its intensely fragrant white flowers.
