Curry tree

The curry leaf tree prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location in a tropical to subtropical climate. It is sensitive to frost and grows best in consistently warm temperatures.

The soil should be loose, rich in humus, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal, and consistent but moderate moisture is preferred; waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a shrub or small tree, usually reaching 2 to 6 meters in height. The first leaves can be harvested after 1 to 2 years, but fruits are rarely used in cultivation.
