Confederate Jasmine

The Chinese Star Jasmine prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location in a subtropical to temperate climate. It is relatively frost-tolerant, especially mature plants, but should be protected from severe frost.

The soil should be humus-rich, loose, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as an evergreen, strongly vining climber and can reach several meters in height. It is particularly valued for its highly fragrant, star-shaped white flowers.
