Bromeliad Nevada

The Bromeliad Nevada prefers a bright to semi-shady, warm, and very sheltered location without direct, strong sunlight. It is frost-sensitive and requires high humidity.

The soil should be very loose, humus-rich, and well-draining (often with bark or epiphyte components). It is important that the leaf rosette is regularly filled with soft water, while the root area is kept only moderately moist. Waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a compact bromeliad, usually reaching 20 to 40 cm in height, but spreads out in a rosette shape. It is particularly valued for its colorfully patterned leaves and its decorative rosette form.
