Tree tomato

The tree tomato prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and wind-protected location. It is sensitive to frost and grows best in subtropical to mildly tropical climates.

The soil should be loose, rich in humus, and well-draining. A slightly acidic pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal; consistent moisture is needed, and waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a shrub or small tree, usually reaching 2 to 5 meters in height. It typically bears its first fruits after about 1.5 to 3 years.
