Banana Tanee

The Tanee banana prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and wind-protected location. It is sensitive to frost and grows best in tropical to subtropical climates.

The soil should be humus-rich, nutrient-rich, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value of about 5.5 to 7.0 is ideal, and consistent moisture is required.

The plant usually reaches a height of 2 to 4 meters and grows quickly. It typically bears its first fruit after about 1.5 to 2.5 years under good conditions.
