Banana Praying Hands

The Praying Hands banana prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and wind-protected location. It is sensitive to frost and thrives best in tropical to subtropical climates.

The soil should be rich in humus, nutrient-dense, and well-drained. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value of about 5.5 to 7.0 is ideal, and consistent moisture is important.

The plant usually reaches a height of 3 to 5 meters and grows relatively quickly. It typically bears its first fruits after about 2 to 3 years under good conditions.
