Asystasia

Asystasia prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm location in tropical to subtropical climates. It is frost-sensitive and grows very quickly with sufficient warmth and moisture.

The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal; regular moisture is preferred, but waterlogging should be avoided.

The plant grows as a creeping to climbing perennial and usually reaches 20 cm to 1 meter in height, but often spreads widely. It is especially valued for its delicate, funnel-shaped flowers in white, pink, or lavender. In tropical regions, it can spread very quickly and sometimes become invasive.
