Amazonian grape
(Pourouma cecropiifolia)
The Amazonian grape prefers a semi-shady to sunny location in a warm, tropical climate. It grows best in regions with high humidity.
The soil should be rich in humus, loose, and well-draining. A slightly acidic pH value between approximately 5.0 and 6.5 is ideal, and consistent moisture is preferred.
The plant typically reaches a height of 10 to 20 meters and grows in a tree-like form. It usually bears its first fruits after about 3 to 5 years.
