Pansies

Pansies prefer a sunny to semi-shady location with cool to mild temperatures. They require regular watering, with the soil being consistently moist but well-drained.

An ideal soil is rich in humus, loose, and nutrient-rich, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH of about 5.5 to 7.0. Waterlogging should be avoided as it can damage the roots.

The plant does not produce edible fruits, but rather striking, often multi-colored flowers. It usually reaches a height of about 10 to 25 cm and grows as a compact, low-growing ornamental plant that is well-suited for beds and pots.
