Petunia

Petunias prefer a sunny to full-sun and warm location with good air circulation. They require regular and abundant watering, with the soil remaining consistently moist but well-drained.

An ideal soil is humus-rich, loose, and nutrient-rich, with a slightly acidic pH of about 5.5 to 6.5. Regular fertilization promotes particularly lush and long-lasting blooms.

The plant does not produce edible fruits but rather large, funnel-shaped flowers in many colors. It typically reaches a height of about 20 to 40 cm and grows as a bushy, profusely flowering ornamental plant or a trailing balcony plant.
