Mealycup Sage

Mealycup sage prefers a sunny to semi-shady location with warm temperatures and good air circulation. It needs moderate but regular watering and tolerates short dry spells better than waterlogging.

An ideal soil is loose, well-drained, and moderately nutrient-rich with a slightly acidic to neutral pH of approximately 6.0 to 7.0. Soils that are too heavy or consistently wet should be avoided.

The plant does not produce edible fruits, but rather long flower spikes in shades of blue, violet, or white. It usually reaches a height of about 40 to 90 cm and grows as a bushy, free-flowering perennial or annual.
