Green Lapacho

The Green Lapacho prefers a full sun, warm location in a tropical to subtropical climate. After establishment, it only requires moderate watering and tolerates dry periods well, but should not remain in wet soil permanently.

Ideally, it thrives in well-drained, sandy to loamy soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH of about 5.5 to 7.0. This species is robust and grows reliably even in less fertile locations.

The tree is particularly known for its striking yellow flowers, which appear in large numbers during the blooming season. It usually reaches a height of about 5 to 12 meters and develops an elegant, open crown with high ornamental value.
