Large-flowered Thunbergia

The Large-Flowered Thunbergia prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location. It requires regular watering, with the soil needing to be consistently moist but well-draining.

An ideal soil is humus-rich, loose, and nutrient-rich with a slightly acidic to neutral pH value of approximately 6.0 to 7.0. Regular fertilization promotes vigorous growth and abundant flowering.

The plant produces large, striking blue-violet to lavender-colored flowers and grows as a fast-climbing, evergreen vine. It can develop shoots 5 to 15 meters long and is excellent for greening fences, pergolas, and walls.
