Scarlet Sage

Scarlet sage prefers a sunny to partially shaded location with warm temperatures and good air circulation. It requires regular watering, with the soil kept evenly moist but well-drained.

An ideal soil is humus-rich, loose, and nutrient-rich, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH of about 5.5 to 7.0. Waterlogging should be avoided, as the roots are sensitive to it.

The plant does not produce edible fruits but rather striking, bright red, pink, white, or purple flower spikes. It typically reaches a height of about 20 to 80 cm and grows as a compact, profusely flowering ornamental plant.
