Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemums prefer a sunny to semi-shady, airy location with rather mild temperatures. They require regular watering, with the soil remaining evenly moist but well-drained.

An ideal soil is humus-rich, nutrient-rich, and loose, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH value of about 6.0 to 7.0. Waterlogging should be avoided, as it can severely damage the roots.

The plant does not produce edible fruits, but rather numerous flowers in white, yellow, pink, or red hues. Depending on the variety, it reaches a height of about 30 to 120 cm and grows as a bushy, often perennial ornamental plant.
